About the designer

Goksenin Ay trained in Brand Management and Textile Design & Development at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where the foundations of this practice took shape: an obsession with how a material behaves before it becomes a statement, and a belief that a brand should be built the same way a garment is, layer by layer, with intention behind every seam. Years spent researching textile history, subcultural aesthetics, and objects worn close to the body continue to inform the work, treating design not as decoration but as a language of its own.

Before this label, the same instincts were put to use as a project manager and concept developer, and as a creative consultant guiding brands through identity, positioning, and the translation of raw vision into something buildable. That range now defines the practice: equal parts designer, strategist, and maker, moving across jewelry, textile, and image without treating any of them as separate disciplines. Each collection starts the same way, as a question about the body, restraint, and what it means to make something rare on purpose.

About the brand

Gokseninay is built on a simple refusal: to make more than is necessary. Every piece is produced in strictly limited editions, treated as an object first and a product second, designed to sit close to the body, to provoke a second look, and to remain exceptional rather than widely owned. The vocabulary draws from fetish hardware, subcultural signals, and industrial materials, reworked with a designer's precision rather than for shock value. The result is jewelry made for people who want what they wear to mean something, not for everyone, by design.
